ABOUT ME

IM ANDREW APODACA.

I always knew i wanted turn creativity into a career and work for myself, but it was never presented as a valid and safe option. The normal get a degree for a decent paying 9 to 5 and watch life pass by never felt right. I knew their had to be more to life than investing my time and energy into something that didn’t feel aligned. I think most curious people would say the same

I didn’t know how to use my voice growing up and because of that Ive always been hyper observant. Observant of light, shapes, people, sounds and little moments happening around me. Then somewhere along the way, a camera became my way of holding onto those pieces of time and gave me a way to express what i felt i couldn’t say.

What started as curiosity and a hobby slowly turned into work. Then into larger projects and bigger opportunities I never expected. But even as things grew, the reason I create has stayed the same: I want my work to feel honest and share my view of the world.

I’ve spent years learning all the techniques and tools to perform at the highest level I can achieve. Even then I don’t believe I have everything figured out. I just believe in showing up, staying curious, and letting the work evolve as I have. That mindset has shaped everything I make. Sometimes that means creating for brands. Sometimes it means creating just for myself. A constant balance of making things I love with making things that matter to other people.

And along this crazy ride, other creatives started asking how I built my work, my audience, and my income. That pushed me to be more intentional about sharing what actually works. Not just theory, but real experience.

So for those here who resonate with my work, I try to share the process honestly, not just the final polished product. I’m not here to prove anything. This all exists here to document a body of work, a perspective, and a journey that’s still unfolding. I’m only interested in growth, In creative freedom and empowering others to find their own unique voice.

welcome.
